I am a student and Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, and I am currently in an Environmental Disturbances class. Everyone in this class is required to do a group project that involves solving the Kangaroo overpopulation problem in Australia. We are looking at marketing various parts of the kangaroos in the U.S. I know you are already doing that (I saw your kangaroo purses and pouches) I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of barriers (economic or cultural) you are up against in marketing these products and what you have done through advertising or other methods to overcome these barriers? I was also wondering what price you pay for shipping items from Austalia to the U.S. (per pound perhaps)? Finally I was hoping that maybe you could send me a little sample of kangaroo leather and/or kangaroo fur so that we could use this in our presentation? I will send it back to you with a check to cover the cost of mailing it to me (I will give you my address after you respond to my e-mail) We are just researching ideas, all projects are hypothetical, but it would be a big help to our group if you answered my questions.
